About Me

I am Alejandro Baena, a game development student from Spain with experience in Unity and C# programming. My passion for game design has led me to create interactive and innovative projects, seeking opportunities to collaborate with development teams and grow within the video game industry.

I have +3 years of experience developing games with Unity and C# and I am currently learning Unreal Engine 5, both Blueprints and C++. Mostly, the games I’ve made are mobile games, with a version made for WebGl to be playable in the browser. I have been focused on making arcade dynamic games, both 3D and 2D, were the most important aspect of the game was dominating simple mechanics in order to obtain the higher score possible. I have also worked in more serious game, like a gamification of high school physics problems, or a Choice-Based narrative game.

I have also learned a lot of tools, to help me while I was developing my different projects, such as: Blender, Figma, Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Premiere. In my degree, I have touched some aspects which I think they are fundamental for any Game Developer, like having critical thinking, audiovisual narrative knowledge, game design, 3D modeling, scripting and world building, and I am currently taking drawing classes, this classes are focused on the basis of drawing, and digital arts.

Games

These are some of my last projects

A board game that combines digital interfaces with real life mechanics.

A 3D arcade mobile game, were you will try to survive as much time as you can, while improving your character and your skills.

Currently under development

A traditional roguelike in aspects such as progression, character upgrades, and the powers to choose from in each run, but with an arcade and dynamic personality that traditional roguelikes lack, reminiscent of classic beat 'em ups.

A Choice-Based narrative game were you will try to survive the attack of an assassin that entered your house.
